fuckyeahgaycouples: This is Justin. He and I were together for 16 months. I was whole heartedly in love with him. We broke up in January, I still think about him every single day. I am still so far in love with him that I can’t even think about being with anyone else. I’ve tried to open up again, i’ve tried to go on dates. This month that’s almost the only thing I have been doing. But to no avail, my heart just isn’t ready. Him and I don’t talk anymore, but I wish we did. Just some form of communication…but no. Nothing. He will never know how much I still love him, and that if I had a second chance that I would do everything right. I would try so hard, so much harder than I did the first time. I took him for granted and when he left, I realized that. We tried being friends, but it didn’t work. We got into a fight and I said things I shouldn’t have, and hurt him. I don’t regret anything in my life, but I regret that. I regret ever hurting him. He didn’t deserve it, I know he deserves better than me. But I will always hold out hope that someday, maybe, hopefully, he will come back. I haven’t been myself since. I’ve taken up smoking, i’ve become jaded, i’ve started to distance myself from so many people. I miss him more and more everyday. I just wish we could say hi to each other.Never let the person you love go, no matter how much you may say you’d be okay without them. You won’t be.
