We enjoyed ice cream and margaritas (not at the same time!) on our first date, and it seems like that sweetness has translated throughout the entirety of our relationship — holidays, dog adoption, career changes, moves across the country, adventures around the world and everything in between. We’re a team, best friends and are madly in love. Now, three years later, we are engaged (!!!), planning on kids (!!!) and enjoying each other’s company as if we were still on our first date. The real secret to a successful relationship: Knowing when to savor the sweet spots in life.
